Abstract
The aim of this research is to determine the effect of therapeutic stories on increasing prosocial aspects in children. The research method was a case study conducted on a 9 year old child who experienced psychological problems, namely never doing assignments in class, always disturbing his classmates and his academic grades dropping. Play therapy sessions were conducted in 12 sessions, therapeutic stories were given in 3 sessions, namely in session 4, session 7 and session 12. Data was collected through observations and observation when the therapeutic story was given during the therapy session and looking at the SDQ scoring results from the total pre-score. middle-post. Based on observations and observations during therapy sessions, changes in behavior were found that the child began to appear active and communicate with the therapist, made eye contact, and started asking questions to the therapist. This shows that therapeutic stories have a positive influence on the development of children's prosocial aspects.
